WATCH: First bus ride

Our Kindergarten Monkey rode a school bus for the first time. We still drive or walk him to school in the morning; but we're letting him ride the bus home from school because the only kids riding his bus on the way home are his kindergarten classmates. That makes me feel better that we don't have to worry about any crazy upper classmen acting a fool on the bus and sharing the news about Santa, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny, among other things. I'm preserving my five year old's wonderment and innocence as long as possible. So here's our big bus rider getting off the bus after his first ride home... (see how happy he is??) Also, you'll see him stop on the top step to do something... he's yelling back to his buddy "Bye Jensen! Bye Jensen!" And when he's coming down the steps you can hear Oakley yell "Day Day!" (He's been calling David Tre "Day Day" since before he was one year old. We all call him that now :)
