We've learned our little Oakley shares a similar health concern with big brother..a serious food allergy. We guessed a few weeks ago that Oak had a lurking allergy after a rash spread across his face while we were eating breakfast at Bob Evans. We knew the signs...the same rash appeared on Davey's face after he ate peanut butter and was rushed to a hospital by ambulance. Oakley experienced another symptom: a horrific rash on his bottom...not diaper rash, but a severe allergic reaction to something. Oak's pediatrician recommended we get him a blood test to find out what he's allergic to...the results came back today... Eggs. And surprising to us, that's it. Only eggs. We can certainly handle an egg allergy in this house. Seems minor compared to brother's peanut, almond, egg, and dog allergies.
