Happy 10 Months Little Oak!

Oakley is our rockstar. He flirts with all the ladies everywhere. They swoon over his hair. What happens is total strangers stop to ask about his hair and then he smiles at them with his sultry blue eyes and before we know it he's got these ladies running fingers through his curls. This happens all the time at the grocery store. Our little Oak has four teeth. Two bottom center, two fang teeth on top. He crawls fast... he's Jimmy Johnson without wheels when he's after a remote control or cell phone. My cell phone is his holy grail. He sleeps through the night 99% of the time. He is the happiest little dude when I go in his room each morning. Ear to ear smile, babbling and bouncing his little body up and down. When he's sleepy he wants his crocheted blanket and wants to be held. If big brother is around, Oak is always happier and more calm. If he's watching Davey Tre run or play, he squeals and squirms excitably. He gives open mouth kisses. He sometimes bites. He's hearing the word 'No' alot more. He has virtually zero patience... there is no chillin' and waiting for his food, bottle, or someone to pick him up. Things must happen on the spot or he will scream. Not a normal scream, but an operatic-style super soprano scream that makes your eardrums feel like they're gonna implode. We're fowarding our hearing aid bills to Oakley in 20 years. Still, he swells our hearts with so much pride and elation... we kiss him maybe two quintillion times a day and can't get enough of him. Just look at those rolls and dimply squish thighs! Swoon!
