Easter Sunday

ON OUR WAY TO CHURCH SERVICE...
DAVEY WEARING HIS NEW EASTER OUTFIT.
(Thank you Noni & Papa for the cute shorts)

SITTING ON DADDY'S LAP IN CHURCH...
HE WAS SO VERY GOOD DURING MOST OF THE SERVICE...
UP UNTIL COMMUNION AND THAT'S WHEN HIS MOOD
WENT A LITTLE SOUTH. BUT HE CHARMED
EVERYONE AROUND US BY TALKING AND GIGGLING.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON, THE EASTER BUNNY (My Mom, Thank you Grandma!)
CAME OVER WITH A BASKET FULL OF GOODIES, WHICH INCLUDED THESE BUBBLES...

...AND EASTER EGGS.  DAVEY LOVED THEM.

Mr. Babe ~

I requested a little more blog from mommy, and thought, why can't I add a little. So I figured you all would probably like to see a few pics of what our little man has been up to. In these pics he is showing off his Bulls clothes, being upset at the dinner table (mad at daddy), sitting on the counter, hanging out at Taste of the Northside, taking a bath, eating a book, and being a Monkeybutt! Most importantly in my opinion, just being damn cute! Enjoy all the pics.

Slacker Mom

oh boy, this Mom has really been slackin on the Babyman Blog. If you've been checking the blog to find a new update and been disappointed to see there isn't one, I'm sorry. But thank you for being interested in our little guy... he's doing awesome. He turns TEN MONTHS this week... unbelievable. He's on the move constantly... we laugh about it alot because many times we can barely keep up. He's pretty fast when he wants to grab something he's not supposed to or climb on something breakable like the stereo or computer desk. He's walking along the furniture now. And getting pretty cocky about it too. He's taking more risks...not hanging on as tight, and taking a few milliseconds to stand on his own or try a step by himself. Although, that official first step hasn't happened quite yet, I don't think. He's very close though.
He is a nonstop talker. He will yell out vowel sounds like an Army drill sergeant. And he'll mimic you if you mimic him. He loves to pull on Rocco's ears, and good old Rocco doesn't mind. Davey would do the same to Miss Willow if she ever got near him, but she rarely does. She treats Davey with the same avoidance as she does the vacuum cleaner. Davey's favorite toys are books, remote controls, cell phones and anything that makes loud noise when you bang it against a table. He can now feed himself...something we've been working on for several weeks. Don't picture a spoon... picture him chasing a small piece of banana all across his high chair table and making several attempts to get it in his mouth but missing. It's a lot of work for one bite of food, but we're so proud he has the concept down and his sticktoitiveness is respectable.
He still has just two teeth. We joke that we're going to buy him dentures so the other kids don't make fun.
