Its a boy!

We found out today, that our kiddo is a boy! 18+ weeks, but it was fairly clear that he is a boy! we will post pics and maybe videos later, but now its time for me, momma, david III and the dogs to sleep :)

Baby is Moving!

I've been feeling these funny movements in my lower abdomen regularly for the last several days... I usually feel them in the evenings between 7:30 and 9:00pm. I wondered if they were the baby moving around but I just wasn't sure. I figured it could easily be digestion or gas or whatever oddities go on in there. But I am certain now, this kid is stretching out on a Lazy-Boy in my uterus. ha! This morning before I got out of bed, I could feel these random pokes so I put my hand on my lower belly and could feel the movements from the outside.... WOW incredible!!! I think our kiddo is watching a Billy Blanks Tae Bo video in there! :)  He or she is definitely poking Mom's belly... I picture these movements as kicks, but I guess he or she could be stretching their arms as well.
We are 17 weeks along in the pregnancy and a week from today will be equally exciting. David and I go back to the doctor for another ultrasound and to find out whether this acrobatic baby is a boy or a girl. My hunch is stronger than ever that it's a boy, but she could surprise me. David thinks its a girl and has been bringing up girl names to me every so often. We have no idea what we'll name her if she's a girl, although we're tossing around some unique names. If it's a boy, the name will be super easy. He will be David James Mazza, III. And we'll call him Triangle.  noooo just kidding. He'll probably become a 'Davey'. 
So, a week from today, David and I will post new ultrasound pics of our soccer player and hopefully, we'll be able to let you know if she's a she or he's a he.  Hope you all are very well and having a great start to the week! Hugs!
